Privacy Policy

Mail Parser (“the App”) is a private tool operated solely by its owner to read and parse the owner’s own Gmail mailbox using the official Gmail API. The App is not offered to the public.

1. Who this applies to

The App is intended only for the developer/owner. Other Google accounts should not authorize the App. If you are not the owner, do not grant access.

2. Google user data we access

Depending on the configured OAuth scopes, the App may access:

• Basic Google account identifiers needed for sign-in (email address, profile);
• Gmail mailbox content of the authorized account (messages, metadata, labels) in order to parse the owner’s own mail.

The App uses Google OAuth 2.0. Access tokens and refresh tokens are used only to call Google APIs on behalf of the authorized account.

3. How Google user data is used

Gmail data is used only to:

• read messages in the owner’s mailbox;
• extract fields needed for personal parsing and organization;
• store parsed results for the owner’s private workflows.

Google user data is not used for advertising, analytics products, credit decisions, or training public AI models.

4. Data storage

Tokens and parsed mail data are stored only in systems controlled by the owner (for example a private server, local machine, or private database). Data is not sold and is not provided to third parties for their own use.

5. Sharing and transfer

The App does not sell, rent, or share Google user data with third parties, except when required by law or to use Google APIs themselves. No human other than the owner reviews mailbox content as part of a product or support process.

6. Limited use of Google user data

The App’s use of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Gmail data is used only to provide and improve the owner’s personal mail-parsing functionality.

7. Retention

Authorization tokens are kept for as long as the owner continues to use the App. Parsed data is kept only as long as needed for the owner’s personal use. The owner may delete stored data and revoke access at any time.

8. How to revoke access

Access can be revoked in Google Account settings: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. After revocation the App can no longer call Gmail API for that account.

9. Security

OAuth credentials and tokens are treated as secrets. They are not placed in public repositories or client-side pages. Communication with Google APIs uses HTTPS.
